How To Make Your Own Skin Exfoliator At Home

I've always had a natural love for DIY beauty. I remember when I was little searching the web for different types of home remedies to try. From carrots to actual mud I've tried it all. Some good some God awful. I did however found one ingredient that has stood the test of time. Baking Soda. This is a miracle worker seriously I use it for all sorts of things! My favorite way to use it is too exfoliate.

Exfoliating once or twice a week can help with acne, clogged pores, uneven skin tone, and even help fight the signs of aging. Because it's bringing up the blood flow and removing all of the dead skin cells it bring "new" younger  skin to the surface. Letting your skin look more radiant and even.
This concoction is very simple to make. I usually do this scrub to even out my tan after the summer months. It's simple, easy, and best of all I always see results in a week.

When making the scrub remember you're making a paste not a liquid. So one part water two parts powder. Mix it well til it turns in to a thick paste. Apply liberally to skin avoiding the face and private areas. This mixture is safe enough to use daily if you aren't sensitive. But the baking soda maybe to rough for your face. I usually let mine sit until I finish the rest of my body then I rinse. Follow up with your favorite body lotion and you're set!
