Today while working on a client we started discussing skin care. Her skin was flawless, so I had to ask. What the heck does she do?! She follows this strict Japanese Skin care ritual that has so many steps to it, that it better be good.
First, you remove all your makeup with a wipe or and oil based remover.
After you wipe you cleanse you wash your face with two different cleansers. What I do is I use one that is more of a general cleanser, and the other is more treatment cleanser.
Then use a toner ( I just use sea breeze) and apply a series of serums. I wouldn't really do more than 3 or 4.
Next massage your face first underneath the eyes swiping from the inner tear duct along the cheekbones then up toward the temples. Do that twice.
Next pinch both sides of jaw bone twice, once towards the back and once toward the point. Then using your palms massage your forehead in an upward motion.
Lastly take the tips of your fingers and tap along the cheekbones and forehead to help your pores drain.
Now apply your moisturizer.
Now about 2 times a week you want to exfoliate and do a mask not on the same day though. And if you do an exfoliating mask that works as both but it's best to do them separate.
Yes this process is probably a lot more than doing a once over with your clarisonic, but it worth it in the long run.
As with any skin care routine, especially one with this much cleaning you might have a purge. Purge of course meaning you're going to see a ton of pimples, but that's fine. They will disappear and your skin will be flawless.
I have to say I've only done it twice now and I already see a difference in the overall clarity of my skin. The dark spots are fading so fast! I've even gone from wearing a full face to just a cc cream, I don't even wear a powder over it! I love it, definitely worth the extra work.
I have visited your website and I found it very useful which gives information of beauty, that's why I love your blog.
