Beauty Sins We All Need Forgiveness For

When it comes to makeup and beauty we all have our faults. Whether it's keeping makeup for too long or just wearing to much bronzer. We've all sinned and we all need to be forgiven. Some are more forgivable some are just down right dirty. If you catch yourself doing any of these major beauty sins it might be time to go to beauty church... Or sephora.

Wearing old strip false eyelashes. Lashes are the wave of the future. They give your eyes a nice look and make your lashes look amazing. But wearing a pair that's way past its prime is a big no no. The old glue holds bacteria and can irritate your eyelashes and can cause infection. Make sure if you're reusing eyelashes that they aren't borrowed and they are cleaned thoroughly.

Wrong foundation shade - This has to be the most common and most evil of all sins. The wrong shade of foundation can ruin your whole look. Choosing the right shade however can fix all that. Make sure when you're choosing the foundation you match it too your face (where you'll be wearing the foundation) and not your hand (where you won't). Make sure you match your current complexion not the shade you want to be.

Too much make up - sometimes lets be honest we get carried away in the mirror. We look at all the nice packaging and we begin to play a little too much. Remember only put as much as you need, make up shouldn't take away your beauty it should only enhance. And always dust on powder never pat you don't want to look like a pancake.

Not blending - This is the most important, blend everything and I mean everything! From your eyeshadow to your foundation you want it too look like you.

Visible contour- contouring is huge right now, and nothing is worse than seeing that "natural" contour. Make sure you're choosing the right shades and you're blending it right. You're supposed to see enough the contour to know it's there, but not enough to notice it. It's supposed to look like a shadow not a line. View my Youtube tutorial on how I contour and also our helpful guide.

Too much bronzer- Again, bronzer is not foundation, it's too add a glow to the face. You don't want to walk around looking like a glitter ball. If you have darker skin use it as a highlight to add radiance to the skin by swiping it on the cheeks, if you're lighter skin use it as a contour swiping it underneath the cheeks.

Applying Blush to just the apples of the cheeks- We are not dolls we are women we apply blush sweeping up our cheeks to look natural not on the apply of the cheeks,

Wearing deep colored blush- this has to be the biggest. Wearing plum colored blush is something of a travesty! It never comes out right it always looks as if you've got a bruise on your face. Use something more in the orange or pink family to warm up the skin.

Too dark lipliner- Lip liner doesn't need to match your lipstick but it should at least be in the same color family as the lipstick you're wearing. You don't want to go to deep with it because when it may alter the lip color too much and make your lips appear to be crusty.

Not cleaning up - After you apply your eye makeup or lipstick clean up the lines that weren't so sharp to get that professional look.

For getting about skin care - Skin care is something that is really the foundation of your makeup. If you're not taking care of your skin properly it doesn't matter how well you apply make up it will end up messy.
