I never knew what I really wanted to do with this blog. It was going to be just another fashion-y blog that I did. But that's not really what I want to do this for. I want this to kinda be a following of my journey to becoming a cosmetologist and where it takes me.
I'm starting beauty school in a few weeks and I could not be anymore excited. It's the only thing I've been able to really think about for the past few months. I've always loved beauty. Hair, skin, make up the works I love it all. I remember when I was little I would play in my sisters makeup and she would teach me how to do eyebrows and put on lipstick. I would read countless magazines and look up different skin care and make concoctions in my kitchen.
As I grew older I got more and more into it I started doing my own hair and different nail styles. I never thought about going into cosmetology, I always thought it was for people who didn't know what else to do with their lives. I was wrong I know but coming from a family of computer geeks and paper pushers you think you have to go in that direction.
Still even when I went to college knew that life wasn't for me. I don't want to sit behind a desk for a good portion of my life, I want to be out there. So I'm going to cosmetology school on the 20th and I couldn't be anymore excited! For the first time in my life I feel like I'm on the right track doing what I was made to do. I've already started the enrollment process I'll be finished tomorrow and classes start on the 20th. It's time for me to get my life going on the way I wanted.
